Interactive Development

With interactive presentations, we are not limited to a linear presentation of information. Historically, only a conversation has seen the branching paths of interactivity, all other forms of media have been linear, movies, music, books, etc. With the capabilities of interactivity we can search, categorize, compare and copy, effortlessly, given enough effort by the developer. This places the audience at the focus, so they can find what they are looking for, and utilize the information quickly.

We learn very little from what we read, listen to, and are shown. Experience which includes engagement is the most effective way to teach an audience. Interactive presentations are not limited to communication of information, they can convey emotion, demonstrate functionality, or entertain. One-way, push media has a place in linear storytelling, but when it comes to empowering the public with tools to generate understanding and community, interactive media has much more potential, because it includes many voices and interpretations.
